The Staffordshire bull terrier is heavy, compact, and muscular dog with dense neck and wide head. They have powerful jaws and deep chest. They have short snout and short floppy ears. The colors can be black, white, tan, brown, tan or reddish tan. The belly hairs are very thin. They really have strong appearance but inside they are behaving dogs. The dogs stand 14 to 16 inches at the withers and weigh 24 to 38 pounds with bitches on the lighter side and male dogs on the heavier side.

The Staffordshire bull terrier is energetic type of animal. They want to play, work and love. They are highly courageous and obedient. They are friendly. If they knew you they always wanted to please you and play with you. They love chew on something so be prepared for chewable toys. They tend to always chew because of their powerful jaws which are totally harmless. They are very adoring and want to be adored. The owner should give time to adore his pet and show them some love. The best thing to show it is through playing with them. They love to run. They are active dogs. They love outside door playing. There is some bull terrier who loves indoor activities. They’re not a good swimmer so avoid bringing them on the beach. They need to be trained well by patience since they can be hard headed. Despite of it you will love them because of their charm look. Their eyes will talk to you when they were sad and happy.  They are just wonderful dogs to take good care of.  When you talk to them you will feel their presence as they know their heads. They can be a good listener and follower of your rules. When you’re planning to have a bull terrier make sure you’re a good leader and you imposed rules. Staffordshire Terrier

Staffordshire Terrier is a dog that is renown worldwide, through its unique look and friendly temperament. Most have a misconception of the Staffordshire Terrier also known as a staffy, staffy bull, Staffordshire bull dog. It is not uncommon to see this type of dog in movies as a gangster’s bad dog which is why so many people have a misconception about the Staffordshire terrier.

With like any pet dog how you bring the dog up with regards to training from a young age is how the dog will mature into a fine breed.

The “normal” look of a Staffordshire Terrier would be too have a white patch down the underside of the dog and one which would have strong muscle back legs with a dog tail that more points out than bends around the backside of the dog.
